Two friends. Two solo punk bands.
And twice awesome sound.

ARNE STROHSACK could also be the civil name of a single person, a great name.
ARNE S was bassist and singer of ANTIDOTE and musically hits a similar notch as his former band. What is surprising is the sound quality and the whole songwriting itself. Here you are offered everything from "Auf Die Fresse - Punk" to an almost gloomy melancholic sound. Crisp driving sound, with melody, hardness and the extra portion of dirt and occasionally also depth.
A great development of his debut EP - This City Is Broken, which came out in 2021.

STROHSACK, who do you think is behind this name camouflage...?
Vocally it sounds a lot like STROHSÄCKE, I heard there are personal parallels to the sacks, but only the straw bag knows that.
No, it's clear, CHRISTIAN from STROHSÄCKE is on stage and you can hear that.
The usual dirty punk sound gets a completely new touch through the drumming, which strongly reminds of Bérurier Noir.
Supposedly even the same drum computer as on Bérurier Noir was used, but that's top secret, so forget it right away.
Shrill punk guitars, scratchy vocals, wavy drumming. Awesome, this is really a completely new sound cration.
A bit crazy...

Death rides out and he comes to you.
Around 2000, the band decided to re-record some of their old songs, to expand them.
Even an old hit like "Western Front", which was comparatively rough in its origins, got a new sound.
More synthesizers, more choirs - more melody and more depth. This album is almost tragic and theatrical.
Screaming Dead have always been dark, but the songs on this album present themselves in a much darker but also softer guise, which creeps perfidiously beautifully under the skin.
This album was released on CD in 2000 and is now available on vinyl for the first time.
The record is available in black and red, black fogged vinyl and comes with a fat inlay, sticker and download code.
